Enjoy sights, sounds, and flavors from around the world as the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) and community members come together to celebrate the diversity of cultures that make up the world around us.
This year, the CAC will celebrate the diversity of our community through a multicultural festival on September 6th from 11 am – 4 pm at the Cultural Arts Center grounds. In a world where sharing who we are and where we all come from is becoming the cornerstone to truly understanding our perspectives and paths in life, there is no better time to celebrate cultures and traditions. Enjoy the day through live performances, culturally authentic foods, vendors, and interactive demonstrations, our community contributed to creating an authentic cultural celebration and learning experience.
The Multicultural festival features:
Recognition and tastings of authentic cultural foods
An “Artistic Living” area full of arts & crafts representing different ethnicities from around the world
Performances, offering a variety of styles and sounds
Interactive demonstrations from cultures from around the world
