Penny Craig - Marble and Smalti in Mosaics
Penny's materials of choice are the gradations of marble limestone and travertine worked together with the rich colours of Italian smalti. You can observe how these materials are cut and embedded in a cement adhesive so that no grouting is necessary.
From the Land to the Ocean mosaics exhibition will be a visual journey from the land to the sea, in the United Nations Decade of Oceans. Take a day trip through the diverse countryside of South Australia, winding your way down to the sea. Pause along the way enjoying life on the land, soaking in the beautiful coastline or take a dive into the ocean, and see what lies beneath.
