Award-winning local chamber music ensemble Morton Trio warmly invite you to celebrate the release of their self-titled debut album with Atoll Records, featuring not one but TWO Brahms Horn Trios.‘Something old, something new, something borrowed – our debut!’
Brahms' iconic Horn Trio in Eb Major op. 40 features alongside a unique transcription of his Piano Trio in B Major op. 8, arranged for violin, horn, and piano by trio violinist Arna Morton, in addition to Arna's brand-new composition for the ensemble, 'Summer'.
The evening celebrations include a performance from the trio featuring highlights from the album (including the world premiere of 'Summer'), a conversation led by MC Dr. Hannah Darroch, and a post-concert catered function.
Attendees will also receive a free drink on arrival, a goody bag, and a signed album*, with extra albums & beverages available for purchase on the night.
