Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and socialize. Learn about mortgages in a relaxed setting and make new friends over a friendly game of mahjong.

Enjoy light appetizers and exciting prizes! We'll be serving a selection of tasty bites to keep you energized throughout the evening, and there will be fun prizes up for grabs to add a little friendly competition to the mix.

🀄 Rules (144-Tile Mahjong)

Goal: Form a winning hand of 14 tiles: 4 sets + 1 pair.

Sets:

Chow: 3 consecutive tiles in the same suit
Pong: 3 identical tiles
Kong: 4 identical tiles (requires a replacement tile)
Pair: 2 identical tiles

Tile Types:

Suits: Dots, Bamboo, Characters (1–9)
Honors: Winds (East, South, West, North), Dragons (Red, Green, White)
Bonus: Flowers and Seasons (used for extra points)

Gameplay:

Players draw and discard tiles to complete their hand.
You can claim discarded tiles to complete a set.
Declare “Mahjong” when your hand is complete.

Winning:

First to complete a legal hand wins the round.
Scoring varies by hand complexity and bonus tiles.
