Morphosis: Headpiece Making Workshop with Stacy Lovejoy

Create a one-of-a-kind headpiece with artist Stacy Lovejoy! https://www.instagram.com/stacylovejoy In this workshop you will create a bizarre and extraordinary art headpiece using found objects such as fur, resin tubes, beads, and unusual materials that go beyond conventional art practices. This workshop encourages makers to think creatively and understand the importance of sustainability in art and teaches how to think creatively about the untapped potential of everyday objects.

As an optional feature, workshop participants will have the opportunity to engage in a professional photoshoot, wearing their self-created masks. This unique opportunity provides a lasting memory of your transformative journey. The photoshoot is available for an additional $30, including a 5-minute session and three professionally edited digital pictures of you wearing your creation. The pictures will be promptly delivered via email within a week.

Materials: All you need to bring is a water, your curiosity and desire to create an extraordinary wearable art piece, and any personal supplies or materials you would like to work with (all other materials will be provided)

You must be 18 years or older to attend the workshop. However, please note that the content of the workshop is suitable for all audiences.
