For fans who’ve done plenty of Caribbean or Yucatan festivals, those who need an excuse to leap to a far-off destination, or those hardcore enough to tick off yet another show from their favorite band, Umphrey’s McGee have just announced the upcoming Morockshow. That’s right, for three nights, April 18th-20th, Umphrey’s will take the stage outdoors at Chez Ali in the magical city of Marrakech, Morocco, in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in northern Africa; yet another voyage to a bucket-list location for the band and fans alike.
In addition to three nights in the heart of the Red City, the band, along with Pilgrimage of Sound—co-producers of UM’s last Iceland outing, Rockjavik—are offering numerous activities and excursions to explore the explosive splendor of Marrakech by day before rocking out in an other-worldly venue by night. Rage. Roadtrip.
