You are invited to join Rev. Janice Spring, author, UCC pastor, workshop/retreat leader in a workshop based on her book, "I Know We're All Welcome at the Table But Do I Have to Sit Next to You?"WHO: Peacemakers, folks who want to "turn down the rhetoric," anyone a bit anxious about family Thanksgiving conversations, those of us finding our way in the middle of great national change
WHEN: Saturday, November 15 from 9am to Noon
WHERE: First Baptist Church, 434 Baltimore Street in Waterloo. The church is accessible for wheelchairs or walkers. Please enter through the covered doors near the parking lot.
WHAT: Rev. Springer will give highlights from her book and lead us in activities to deepen our understanding and practice. Mid-morning snacks will be served. Copies of the book will be available for sale.
HOW MUCH: There is no cost for the participants.
