At this time of year, the number of ducks and waders on the estuary will be building up, and we should see good numbers on this RSPB reserve. We have a good chance of seeing some passage migrants and wintering thrushes too. We plan to walk a circuit around the reserve, to Turf Lock and back. The path is very likely to be wet & muddy - wellies recommended.Price: £2 for non-members, free for members of RSPB Exeter local group.
Meet at RSPB car park (SX953872; ///hero.clubs.weds; EX6 8DZ) at 9.30 am. No toilets.
Please bring binoculars with you if you have them, and appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather & terrain (wellies or waterproof boots). Assistance Dogs only.
