Join us for a morning Training Backpack Hike 🐕🗓️ DATE: Saturday, January 31st
⏰ TIME: Our hike will begin at 8am sharp, please arrive 15 minutes early to get ready and say hello.
📍 LOCATION: Pilchers Hill Track, Geilston Bay. We will meet at the start of the track which is at the very end of Geilston Creek Road, Geilston Bay. Side street parking available along Geilston Creek Road, and then a short walk up to the start of the track.
🌲 ABOUT: This hike is 5km through the bush, with some moderate inclines throughout. Beautiful views at the top of the hill, and lots of varying terrain which can be loose in some areas. Put aside 2 hours for this nice and short hike.
🥾 BRING: Your dog! Now is a good time to starting increasing weight to your dog's pack. A lead no longer than 2 meters, treat pouch, poo bags. Plenty of water for you and your dog. Sunscreen, a hat and suncare. Good shoes, layers to rug up if needed, and food for yourself and your dog if needed.
💵 As we prepare for our March trials, we are asking for voluntary donations to CPAT to help fund our trials. These donations will help cover the costs of hosting our interstate judge, insurances, gear, etc. If you are able to donate $5 to our club for each hike we host, that would be greatly appreciated. Donations welcome both in cash and account transfer.
