About Our Facilitator:
Rhonda has served in ministry for the past 29 years. She has a great love for working with individuals in developing their creative gifts. Rhonda was a faithful member of the MSBC for 13 years, sang in the choir and started the mime ministry in 1995. Being obedient to the call of God, she & her son relocated to Dallas Tx and joined the Potter’s House in 2006. After joining, she was appointed Mime Director, ministered along-side Bishop TD Jakes, and represented “Dee the Dreamer” for his Reposition Yourself Book. Rhonda’s ministry not only teaches mime but also, encourages holiness, teaches choreography, make-up application, song selection, proper attire and how to render effective Gospel presentations. With that, Rhonda founded GTTA Gospel Through the Arts which combines a plethora of Christian creative artforms such as dance, mime, flags, ballet, hip hop & poetry together to tell a Kingdom story. Rhonda has traveled all over the world ministering, rendering workshops, and presented on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show with the MSBC Mime Team in 2003. She is currently a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church creative arts department. Rhonda produces her own creative art films and is the author of four books. She obtained her master’s degree in Christian Education and is currently pursuing her Doctorates in Community Care & Group Counseling. Rhonda love to learn and learns to love, like Jesus! Her overarching gift & passion is to empower others!
