About this Event
We are Katie & Katie from Regulate the Pace, a duo of an occupational therapist and a health coach. We are Yin Yoga teachers who are passionate about working with a mind~body approach to health & wellness.
We use tools of yoga, breath work & deep relaxation to focus on nervous system regulation .
Yin yoga is a beautifully slow & restorative style of Yoga, focusing less on the aesthetics of the pose & more on unwinding & unfolding.
In Yin we aim to find softness, ease & openness in the body. We are getting into the deeper connective tissues and fascia by holding the poses for longer.
In Nidra we create stillness & calmness in the mind, energising the body with pranayama breath work, sound & visualisation meditation.
This is an open-level class suitable for all ages, flexibilities & abilities.
This is a good class if you are a complete beginner to yoga.
We look forward to having you there with us for morning slow flow!
Please come dressed appropriately for ease of movement and relaxation in something warm, flexible and comfortable for you and bring along your own mat, bolster or blocks.
Please inform us if you have any specific conditions or injuries on the day prior to the class beginning.
Please consult your midwife if you are currenly pregnant or have recently given birth.
Please consult your doctor before beginning anything new if you are currently ill or recovering form an illness.
Please work with in your own limits of what your body can do, every body is different.
We advise that you bring something to hydrate yourself during and after the session.
