Morning Meditation with Mettā: A Peaceful Start to Your Day
Join us for a calming and restorative morning meditation experience, designed to help you center your mind and cultivate compassion for yourself and others. This event is open to all experience levels and provides a welcoming space to start your day with intention and mindfulness.
Event Details:
• Opening Circle: We will begin by gathering together in a supportive circle, setting our collective intention for the session, and connecting with the group in a peaceful, grounding way.
• Guided Meditation: Our meditation practice will be led by an experienced instructor, guiding you through a series of techniques aimed at promoting relaxation, mindfulness, and inner peace. We will focus on cleaning mind and cultivating mettā—loving-kindness—towards ourselves and others.
• Journaling: After the meditation, you’ll have a few moments to reflect and journal your thoughts and feelings. Writing down your experiences can help solidify your practice and deepen your connection to your intentions.
• Socializing: Following the session, there will be an opportunity to mingle and connect with like-minded individuals over Kava. Share your reflections or simply enjoy a peaceful chat with fellow attendees.
What to Bring:
• Please bring any props you may need for your comfort, such as yoga mats, cushions, or pillows.
• For those with disabilities or mobility needs, chairs or a couch will be available. If you prefer a chair, please feel free to bring your own for extra comfort.
