Begin your day with a calm and grounding session designed to support relaxation, balance, and mental wellbeing.
This beginner-friendly and playful morning practice introduces participants to the importance of conscious breathing and gentle movement as simple tools for reducing stress and reconnecting with the body.
The session combines a short introduction to breathing and the nervous system, guided breathwork techniques, gentle stretching, and an easy yoga flow.
No prior experience with yoga, breathwork, or meditation is needed. The session is soft, accessible, and open to all levels.

Facilitators
Andrea Noghiu is a yoga teacher and therapist with more than 10 years of experience. Through her work in a medical center, she guides people toward greater balance, recovery, and relaxation. With her warm and personal approach, Andrea combines yoga, breathing, and body awareness to support both physical and mental health.
Maria Jimenez is the creator of Solidarity CLAP. She designs community-led workshops and collaborations that bring people together through making, learning, and sharing. Trained in Functional Breathing and Breathwork with RESPIRA Group, she weaves creativity, conscious breathing, and care into spaces for connection, wellbeing, and real social impact.
Who is it for?
Open to anyone looking for a gentle start to the day. No experience is required.
Practical information
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and stretch easily. Yoga mats and basic materials will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. The session is beginner-friendly and no previous experience with yoga or breathwork is needed.
Take a light breakfast. Some fruit and tea will be offered for after the session.
Event Context
From June 1 to 6, 2026, it is Mental Health Week. Throughout Amsterdam, there are free activities that week that you can easily join.
