Welcome to the next Morning Beat at Smelteverket 19th of August where AB kicks off the first Purple event for us. Purple events are dedicated to more alternative experiences than a conventional Morning Beat.AB, short for Anne Brit (@ablothe), is an American/Norwegian DJ based in Oslo. Although new to the Oslo club scene she has already played at multiple festivals since starting out seriously a few years ago. A long time devotee of serious club music, she likes to bring out an energetic mix of acid and progressive house, often accompanied by breaks, groovy techno and trance beats. Expect 303 growls and bouncy basslines infused with psychedelic elements, just to keep it interesting.
