About this Event
Join Big White Shed poet, Anne Holloway, on a Word Walk as part of Morecambe Maritime Festival. What’s a word walk? A chance to take in the sights and sounds of the outdoors, and write, or doodle as you go.
We’ll meet under Morecambe Sailing Club Race Office (pictured above), and will provide paper, pens, and prompts if you need them. .
The walk is more of a stroll really! The route is on the flat, and we'll be taking our time to take in the surroundings. We'll meet up at 10am and have a chat before setting off. We expect to return to our starting point withing about 90 minutes.
This is a laid back event, no previous writing experience needed, just come along for the walk and have a go at writing.
If you fancy sharing what you've written, or want to hear what other people have produced at our Rythm and Roots Workshops in the past few weeks, then come and do so at our informal sharing performance at Morecambe Library at 1pm on the same day.
