Winter will soon be upon us and we need to increase staffing and services at Eau Claire Community Haven House in the best interest of our unhoused neighbors. On October 12th from 3:30-5pm, in the Maker's Space Gallery of the Library, Eau Claire Community Haven House will be opening an exhibit, displaying art created by our guests. Dan Ingersoll, art teacher and volunteer "extraordinaire", has served as an inspiration to our artists. The exhibit will be open for viewing from October 7th until November 8th.
At the opening, we are featuring Linnea George-harpist. Refreshments will be served. Items for Community Haven House donations include mugs created by Dan, birdhouses created by guests, and frameable posters. T-shirts will be available to preorder at the event with cash or check only. Other items for sale will be donations only. We will have a QR code to scan for making donations.
We are looking for corporate bidders to bid on three murals that you can view in our September 18th post. These murals have been collaboratively created by the guest artists.
***If you are interested in the murals, you can contact me at [email protected]. We are continuing to work on an online bidding process.
Individual artists are encouraged to be present with their individual works to sell with cash only proceeds going to the artist, or, depending on the artist's wishes, for donation to Eau Claire Community Haven House.
There will also be a press release coming soon. Please share with your networks!
Thank you in advance for your support.
