About this Event
In partnership with The Spalding Collaborative and Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies GA and thanks to Southern Crescent Technical College, Operation M.I.S.T. is teaching women how to take control of their health and embrace the power of womanhood.
You will learn:
- The difference between the vagina and the vulva
- 5 functions of the muscles between your hips
- Why some women leak and others don't
- The range of fluids that are produced by the female body
- Practices that can improve your experience with your cycle, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, and your overall health
You can expect a mixture of education, Q and A, games and hands-on activities. Snacks will be provided.
Knowing that 50% of women show up to pregnancy unplanned, many women are having difficulty getting pregnant, over 80% of pregnancy-related deaths are preventable, and the number 1 killer of women in the U.S. is heart disease, we are on a mission to teach women everything they need to know about their bodies as early as possible so they can prepare and protect them throughout all phases of womanhood.
This event will take place in the Medical Building in Room 325.
