Every first and third Sunday, Roger Ferguson, Trevor Hanson, and Mick Nicholson (the More or Less Paulish Trio) appear at Hard Hat Winery north of Poulsbo. Roger, a National Flatpick Champion, plays mandolin and fiddle in addition to guitar. Trevor plays 7- and 8-string guitars. Ex-Navy Band bassist Mick fills out the bottom. They draw on an eclectic range of improvised music, from jazz and swing standards to bluegrass, latin, gypsy, and old-timey Americana -- similar to what the old Less Paulish Trio played with Ray Wood. Come sip some wine, have some snacks, bring your dog, enjoy the trees, and hear some cool music. No cover. Music often continues after 4PM.
