Happy Second Chance Month! The Mayor's Office on Returning Citizens (MORCA) is proud to present a slate of events all April to celebrate.
At this event, MORCA will host a number of author talks where Returning Citizen published authors presents their book to an audience, sharing insights into their writing process, inspiration behind their story, key themes, and personal anecdotes, including a reading excerpt from the book, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience where attendees can ask about the story, characters, or the author's writing style.
