About this Event

Dr. Cynda Rushton, Professor of Clinical Ethics at John Hopkins University School of Nursing, author of Moral Resilience: Transforming Moral Suffering in Healthcare, and co-creator of the Rushton Moral Resilience Scale (RMRS) will be talking on the importance of moral resiliency for moral leadership with an interdiscplinary panel of respondents.

Respondents include Dr. Keith Meador, Director of the Vanderbilt Biomedical Ethics Center, Dr. Ashmeet Oberoi, Assistant Professor of the Practice of Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt's Peabody College, and Assistant Dean for Public Interest at the Law School, Beth Cruz, J.D.

This event will be hosted in-person at the Vanderbilt School of Nursing and livestreamed to the Vanderbilt Divinity School Youtube page.

It is co-sponsored by the Cal Turner Program for Moral Leadership in the Professions at Vanderbilt University and the Sesquicentennial Funds offered by the Chancellor's Office. The public is encouraged and welcome to attend. Parking can be found street-side and at Wesley Place Garage.
