This year’s annual Moosabec Summerfest 5K Road Race and Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run (new this year!) will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024. Runners who pre-register by Wednesday, June 12th will receive a custom event t-shirt! (Day-of registration will not include a t-shirt.)As usual, day-of registration will take place from 7:00-7:50 AM at the Moosabec Ambulance Service station, located at 140 Main St., Jonesport, ME 04649. Runners who pre-register must check in within that timeframe to receive their t-shirt and race bib. The Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 AM sharp, with the 5K Road Race to follow immediately after. Following the conclusion of the race, trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers of the Kids’ Fun Run, overall male and female finishers of the 5K Road Race, and top male and female finishers in each age category; winners are asked to stay for the awards ceremony in order to collect their trophies.
