Come warm yourself by our fire, as the nights draw in!
The site is open from 18.30, with music starting around 19.00 and going on til midnight. All are welcome to play, sing, speak, dance, or to simply watch and relax in the stunning Moorforge Viking Settlement longhouse. Cosy and intimate with great music in a unique viking age building. Please bring refreshments to eat, drink and share.
If you are one of our regular musicians, please make sure to contact us directly for other arrangements so we can sort you out with drinks and free camping!

At this time of year, space on site is limited by waterlogged ground and bad weather. We will have limited numbers of tickets for the next few months, and anticipate selling out in advance.
There are limited number of spaces for overnight camping, at an additional £8.00 per person if you are attending the session. Individual camping tickets are available here...

*At this time of year, camping space is severely limited. Please let us know if you intend to camp in a tent, or if your vehicle is larger than a standard wheelbase Ford Transit, as space for both is limited. We may have to refuse very large vehicles. Please note that total numbers will also be limited due to total parking available. We reserve the right to refuse and refund any of our tickets.*
N.B. Moorforge is in a fairly remote site and, especially at this time of year, can be subject to the intemperate whims of our beautiful Cumbrian weather. It can also get a little smoky. Whilst an authentic viking age site, we do everything we can to be as accessible as possible. Please do contact us if you have any needs or queries.
Please: bring a torch or lantern as well as blankets and cushions as needed. Wear practical and appropriate clothing, and decent boots. Take your rubbish away with you. Be awesome to one another.
