The Annual Moorforge Craft Festival 2025 Beltane bank holiday weekend May 3-4-5th gates open 10:30am
A family friendly event , giving you a unique opportunity to see a variety of traditional & contemporary crafts that are inspired by the early medieval/ Viking Age.
You can meet,learn & buy from the crafts folk themselves. All set in the Viking settlement of Moorforge, with the traditional long houses & market village of period tents.
Saturday night also sees the famous Moorforge Session in the longhouse. Tickets available through link. Come along and unwind by the fire in our longhouse with foot-stomping music and a glass or two. Please see separate page event for details...

There will be food & drinks available from the Moorforge kitchen over the weekend.
Dogs are allowed at the event, strict policy on the lead at all times ,
as there are live stock animals on site.
There is something for everyone & all age groups at this event!

There is a small fee on the gate: £5 for a day entry - under 16 free.
Entrance fee & If you wish to purchase from the crafters or from the Moorforge kitchen “cash” is required 🙏🏻
