Twelve-year-old runaways Sam Shakusky (Jared Gilman) and Suzy Bishop (Kara Hayward) set up camp in a secluded cove on the fictional New England island of New Penzance.Pursued by the authorities – including Scout Master Ward (Edward Norton), Police Captain Sharp (Bruce Willis) and Suzy’s parents (Bill Murray and Frances McDormand) – Sam and Suzy grapple with the struggles of adolescence, friendship, family and love.
