What to expect:

Once everyone is present, we will gather along the spring-fed pond where the owner of Jaybird Hammock Farm, Tina Jenkins, will welcome you and share a brief history and mission statement of the farm. Together we will then take a short mindful walk down a nature trail and into the pine forest (half-mile round trip). On the walk, some of the farm animals, goats, donkeys and a mule may come out to say hello. When we arrive in the pine forest, you will get cozy in a hammock with a warm blanket and relax to the sounds of crackling fire and pine trees gently swaying in the breeze.

When everyone is comfortable in their hammocks, Ronnetta, Angie, and Tina will be your guides on your continued journey. You will enjoy a peaceful hypnosis and harmonic sound healing experience. You may experience a range of emotions to include joy, sadness, peace, tranquility, or relief. Allow your emotions to flow and accept the release.

First, Naturalist and Biologist Tina Jenkins will lead you on an exploration of the diverse flora, fauna and ecological nuances of the surroundings. This immersive introduction aims to deepen your connection with nature, creating a more enriching and memorable mediation experience.

Next, Dr. Ronnetta Williams will guide you through a tranquil meditation. With a soothing voice that will resonate like a gentle breeze, she will begin by inviting you to settle into a comfortable position and let go of the cares of the outside world. Guiding you to focus on your breath, she will usher you into a state of deep relaxation, where each inhale and exhale will become a rhythmic dance of serenity. Skillfully weaving imagery and gentle prompts, she will effortlessly guide you into a realm of inner peace and stillness. With each passing moment, their guidance will gently nudge you deeper into the recesses of your consciousness, inviting you to explore the vast landscape of your mind with curiosity and acceptance. Through their nurturing presence and intuitive guidance, you will emerge from the meditation feeling renewed, refreshed, and deeply connected to the essence of your being.

Following the meditative journey, Angie will play the singing bowls, the harmonic sounds will surround you, creating a sensory experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional mediation. The resonant tones, like a gentle breeze through the trees, will immerse you in a soothing auditory cocoon, enhancing your connection with the natural surroundings and deepening the overall sense of tranquility and relaxation during the session.
