The Moonlit Meadow Run is part of the Channel Events Dark Skies Night Running Series.
Join us for this lovely night run around Longrun Meadow and French Weir Park. There's a choice of 5km or 10km(2 laps) and both distances have minimal elevation.
Both the 5km and 10km routes use Longrun Meadow, Silk Mills and French Weir Park. Both routes differ from the local Parkrun route by taking in different trails, runs in the opposite direction and has the added buzz of running at night.
The inaugural event in 2018 received fantastic feedback due to the flat traffic free course. This is a great introduction to running at night or a fast time. A great event for the novice or the seasoned athlete.
This event is family friendly. 8-16 year olds can run with a supervising adult (who keeps them in sight at all times) and 16-18 year olds can run solo with parent/guardian consent.
The event takes place on Saturday 7th February 2026 and will start from the COACH facility in French Weir Park.
Entries open on the 1st April 2025 at midday.
