Join us for night of Jazz, Swing & Country Blues.. Moonlighting play music that was made for dancing using various combinations of violin, clarinet, trumpet, piano and bass with two strong vocalists. Specifically, the American and European jazz dance styles from the 1920s to the 1950s. The repertoire is based around classic swing tunes from the likes of Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith and Al Bowley, with a bit of western swing, boogie-woogie and the occasional Latin number thrown in, all served with harmony vocals and a smile. This is dance music and works for all the generations.
