Join us for International Observe the Moon Night on October 11 from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm!We will have astronomers from South Florida Amateur Astronomy Association who will bring amazing telescopes for the public to view. Participants are welcome to bring their own telescope and chairs. Meet at Lee Road Fishing Pier.
Why are we starting so early?
The astronomers have very special filters on their lenses that allow you to safely view the sun!
And you'll get to watch a beautiful sunset while we wait for the moon to rise.
This event is weather dependent. Follow this page for updates.
