About the authors...
Clare Beams- the author of the novels The Garden, The Illness Lesson, and the story collection We Show What We Have Learned, which won the Bard Prize and was a Kirkus Best Debut of 2016, as well as a finalist for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize, the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Fiction Award, and the Shirley Jackson Award. With her husband and two daughters, she lives in Pittsburgh, where she teaches creative writing, most recently at Carnegie Mellon University and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
Mollie Ann Cox Bryan- Mollie Cox Bryan writes cozy mysteries with edge and traditional mysteries with heart. She’s the author of several bestselling mystery series, also writing under the pen name Maggie Blackburn. She’s recently released a novella mystery series: The Victoria Town Mysteries. Her books have been selected as finalists for an Agatha Award and a Daphne du Maurier Award and as a Top 10 Beach Reads by Woman’s World. She has also been short-listed for the Virginia Library People’s Choice Award. She’s also penned a historical fiction: MEMORY OF LIGHT: AN AFTERMATH OF GETTYSBURG. She makes her home at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Shenandoah Valley, Va.
