Sacred Not Secret: Moon Cycle and Self-Care Workshop for Girls
Calling all girls aged 10-16 and their parents!
It is not a secret that all girls will begin their menstrual cycle between the ages of 8 and 17. This time marks the onset of her transition into womanhood, involving changes that are emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual. This wonderful transition into womanhood is sacred, yet it can sometimes be confusing.
Join us for the Sacred Not Secret Moon Cycle and Self-Care Workshop for Girls, where we create a safe environment for girls to ask questions and learn about their bodies, their menstrual cycle, and ways to care for their maturing bodies.
What Girls Will Learn:
- Understanding the Changes: Learn what is happening to your body physically and emotionally during this time.
- Body Care: Discover how to take care of your body before and during the moon cycle.
- Healthy Habits: Explore healthy nutrition and habits that support a smooth cycle.
- Self-Care Rituals: Create self-care "pampering" rituals to honor your moon time and relieve discomfort.
- Menstrual Products: Get introduced to safe and effective menstrual products such as organic pads, Luna Pads, Diva Cups, and tampons. Learn what to include in a self-care kit for your backpack or purse.
3-Hour Hands-on Workshop Includes:
