Monumental:Essex based band Monumental were formed in September 2023 and have already taken the music scene by storm. With a string of sold-out performances at some of the UK’s most iconic venues, including the Hope and Anchor, Dublin Castle, O2 Academy, and the legendary 100 Club, Monumental are a band on everyone’s lips.
Their songs draw inspiration from their musical heroes whilst infusing them with a fresh, contemporary edge.
The band’s dynamic performances have been hailed by critics and fans alike, with many praising their ability to captivate audiences with both their stage presence and their emotive songs.
Groovy Psycho:
One of the finest line-ups of musicians on the circuit, four friends came together to record the second album from Spen’s solo project ‘Groovy Psycho” in Nashville, Tennessee. Entitled ‘5 days in 1979’ it was released in 2019 and then followed by a second visit to Nashville in 2023 resulting in a third album entitled ‘Sweet Blasphemy’ being released in June 2024.
Not only is there a real chemistry when this line-up record but the full band live performances resulted in a subliminal delivery of quality song after song which blend Rock & Pop with a hint (at times) of Country, Blues and Soul.
This delivery has been successfully transposed by Spen to solo acoustic performances which also include titles from the next planed release currently being tracked at Attic Sound Studio. A definite must see.
