Montreal Swing Riot is back July 4-6, 2025 during Montreal Jazz Fest! // Montreal Swing Riot vous revient pour une nouvelle édition unique l'été prochain du 4 au 6 juillet 2025 durant le Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. We have inspiring guest dancers to showcase from both the authentic jazz and street dance communities, new bands for you to discover and new ideas to explore.

Travel 📆
We suggest arriving on Thursday July 3rd or earlier if you can. The Jazz Fest will be in full swing all week with hundreds of free outdoor shows. We're also considering hosting some workshops on Thursday evening separately.
If you're looking to book lodging, we are planning to host the event downtown in the Place des Arts/Quartier des Spectacles area right next to all the Montreal Jazz Festival activities. Over 2M people attend the Jazz Fest each year, so we recommend not renting a car but rather to use public transit if you need to travel during your stay here. Montreal has a good, clean and safe Metro subway and bus system.
Extending your stay with Beantown Camp ✈️
For friends coming from out-of-town, we're hosting Swing Riot right after Beantown Camp June 26-July 3, so you can make it a full 11-day dance vacation in Eastern Canada and the US as we're only a 5h drive from each other. We already know dancers planning to do both.
