Welcome to the FIRST monthly meet of the 2025. The team is back in full swing and looking forward to catching up with everyone and meeting new people too. This months 'Wheels & Coffee' Meet is been held at: Carlisle Aviation Museum, Crosby on Eden - CA6 4NW on Sunday 23rd March between 10AM - 1PM.
Carlisle Aviation Museum have kindly granted us use of a parking area next to the museum which can host around 100 vehicles.
Anyone who attends this months 'Wheels & Coffee' meet will be given a Wheels Int Lakes card. If you hand this card in at the Aviation reception desk you will be granted a discounted rate of £5pp to look around the planes and museum.
Wheels Int Lakes welcome everyone to come along & meet friendly like minded people with an passion & love for all things automotive. If you have an interest in cars or bikes, or own something a little unique please come along everyone is super friendly and welcoming.
At this venue you can feast your eyes on a unique collection Aviation History with over 20 superb aircrafts & two large buildings hosting a variety of Aviation artifacts. Walk around the nostalgia of Wartime Cumberland and take a look inside some of the aircrafts. You can book a slot to look inside the Vulcan Bomber at the reception in the museum. (pre book slots on the day in advance) This is a great day out for all ages.
If the museum doesn't appeal you can chat to the enthusiasts outside or why not grab a hot coffee, drink or snack from the Aviation shop. (Sorry no hot food at this venue)
Hot food can be purchased on route in Carlisle or Brampton town centre. Why not try out Mr Browns Café for a take away bacon sarnie or sit in for a full English. (open at 10am)
All our meets are 100% static and are safe for Children and Dogs to attend too. All dogs must be kept on leads. We kindly ask anyone who attends our meets to please respect the venue and make sure that litter is put in the bins provided.
Anti social behaviour will not be tolerated.
