Come join us for the first monthly volunteer morning of 2026. We'd love to see you. During this session we'll also be taking part in RSPB's Big Garden Bird Watch.
Big Garden Birdwatch is the world’s largest garden wildlife survey. Every year, hundreds of thousands of nature lovers like you take part, helping to build a picture of how garden birds are faring. We have lots of lovely birds that visit Foundry Wood, or call it there home so this is a great opportunity to contribute to the survey.
Monthly volunteer mornings 'care-taking' at the woods take place on the LAST Sunday of the month 10am – 12pm January – November.
Tasks will be seasonal and varied.
Please wear suitable clothing such as long sleeved shirts/long trousers/layers and waterproofs. Sturdy shoes such as boots or wellies also recommended.
If you have your own tools or glove – please feel free to bring them although we will provide them.
Meet at Foundry Wood, Princes Terrace, Leamington Spa, CV31 3PH.
Head to the Outdoor Classroom – the covered area in the centre of the wood.
