EV and PHEV Manufacturing in New York State
The transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) represents a highly disruptive shift in modern manufacturing that is redefining business models, supply chains, and workforce needs. For New York’s small and medium-sized manufacturers, data-driven adaptation is essential. This talk will explore the use of import data to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic pathways for onshoring/ reshoring EV and PHEV supply chains in New York State.
