Monthly Songwriting Group at Finale Music School - share your songs and pick up tips!

If you are a songwriter, seasoned or spring chicken, and are looking for a group of likeminded individuals with whom you can share new material and swap constructive feedback and ideas, then you'll love the Finale Music School Songwriting Group! We'll also be setting some fun challenges to stretch your writing ability and discussing new techniques we can all use to broaden our sonic palette! This event will take place on the second Sunday of every month, beginning on the 8th of May. There's no need to book- just turn up at the school at 4:30PM with an instrument and a song to share!
The group will be led by local songwriting legend George Surtees who has a ryhme for every situation and an endless armoury of chord voicings and novel melodic ideas. This workshop series will be suitable for all ages but we ask that participants under the age of 15 are accompanied by an adult.
