Hello Marauders. On the 14th April we have our monthly social hub in which we talk about our plans how the charity is progressing and any ideas going forward. I’m happy to announce we have another guest speaker for the morning. Wayne Griffiths (BEM) is an ambassador for Velindre Cancer Centre since 2013 and has been a fundraiser for many years due to personal tragedy through cancer. Wayne also set up a charity 25 years ago called ‘The Pontypridd Children’s Contact Centre’ which facilitates children meeting their estranged parents in contact particularly during the course of legal proceedings. Wayne has made such an impact that he was awarded a British Empire Medal in the 2024 New Years Honours List. It will be great to hear a talk from someone who has had such a profound effect. Wayne will be at the Guildhall from 10. Join us if you can.
