Friend of foe? W**d or treasure? Learn about Florida native plants that you may want to keep -- even encourage! -- in your landscape.Native plant enthusiast and chapter volunteer chair Tabatha Spence-Hall will be introducing us to common native plants that volunteer (just appear) in your yard. We'll be viewing photos of each plant as well as the common and scientific names of the plants. We'll have some fun guessing the identity of each plant before we talk about it, and then spend a few minutes talking about its characteristics that might help to identify it.
Everyone is welcome at all Pinellas Chapter monthly meetings - membership not required! Come and bring a friend. Enjoy light refreshments, the fellowship of other native plant lovers, both newbies and experts, an informative program, door prizes, and more. Please join us!
