Join us every last Saturday of the month from 4-6pm for our MONTHLY MEMBER STUDIO HOURS! Get a chance to connect, have relevant discussions, and share current projects virtually with fellow AAWAA community members. Open to all current AAWAA Members + they may bring 1 guest.

Join AAWAA Members in-person as we celebrate Pride Month by visiting the We Are LGBTQ Nikkei exhibition in San Francisco's historic Japantown! The is proud to host an exhibit by the Japantown Rainbow Coalition, generously funded by the Berkeley Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. An exhibit of queer Nikkei artists creating space for queer Japanese American culture within Japantown.
Featuring AAWAA Artist Members Julia LaChica and Midori Midori along with community artists Tomo Hirai, Tina Kashiwagi, eryn kimura, and Mia Nakano. Curated by Tomo Hirai and Lilith Benjamin.
