Please join us for a visual stunning meeting with guest speaker, Helen Johnson as she shares her beautiful nature photography with us. We meet at 7pm in Room 200 in the First United Methodist Church of Rolla, located at 803 N Main St. You do not have to be a chapter member to attend.Helen has been interested in photographing nature since she was given her first camera. Until about fifteen years ago most of those pictures were taken on family vacations, but now almost as many are taken in her own backyard, and in parks and trails in the Rolla area and Missouri. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri. Helen taught for twenty years in elementary classrooms, developed and led summer enrichment programs for elementary and middle school students, and has led several nature related talks and hikes for both children and adults. Other interests include nature journaling, traveling, reading, and sewing. She is also addicted to crossword puzzles!
