Freelance photojournalist Ralph Wilson will lead a discussion of youth sports photography. Geared for parents, grandparents and student photographers, topics will include equipment selection, camera and menu settings, field angles and post-production. While offering suggestions to maximize your success, Wilson will talk more about shots you can get with the equipment you have. Making a deep dive into camera menus we will discover settings that can and should be adjusted based on the venue. We will also talk about composition and elements of a photo that make it more compelling. Rather than a lengthy lecture Wilson will open the floor for an informal question/answer session and invites you to bring your camera to follow along and become familiar with the various menu settings.
As always, our meetings are open to the public.
