Our next meeting is Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 PM at the Mayborn Museum Complex. Gil Eckrich from Twin Lakes Audubon Society will be our speaker. He will present a program on “Bird Nests From the Ground Up”. While we all chase, identify and photograph birds in the trees, in the sky, in the bushes, and on the ground, often we forget to look for the nests that are in plain sight. In 2026 we’d like to make an effort to increase our knowledge of current bird nesting in McLennan County. Come to the meeting to find out more!
