Each month we present a different style of meditation, exploring the benefits it provides, in hopes of introducing you to a style that you are more likely to consistently practice. October features the practices of Yoga Nidra with sacred sound. Also known as “psychic sleep,” it uses a structured framework to guide participants into a profound yet subtle state of awareness, bringing balance, insight, and awareness from beyond conscious thought. Blended with sacred sound from crystal singing bowls, the practice requires only the ability to listen, making it perfect for both beginners and longtime students. Every monthly meditation session includes gentle movement to relax the body and optional aromatherapy to enhance breath awareness, in addition to our subject of study. We hope to practice with you!
