Join us for the Waimānalo Limu Hui's Lā Limu initiative and actively participate in restoring limu in Waimānalo Bay. Weave and plant limu lei to help revive the nearshore ecosystem and replenish the once-thriving limu population. Come and discover the importance of limu while making a positive impact on our coastal waters.Limu restoration work is done at Kaiona Beach Park in Waimanalo and begins promptly at 8am. Bring your reusable water bottle, mess kit, reef safe sunscreen, tabis or old shoes.
