About this Event
Join Buddhist monks Bhante Sujatha and Bhante Rahula at the Universalist Unitarian Society of Geneva, IL for a session of guided mediation and teachings in mindfulness.
In these sessions, the monks will guide you through a 30 minute guided meditation followed by a themed talk with time for discussion through questions and answers from the monks.
Meditation is a practice that cultivates mindfulness which can bring clarity and peace to life. By joining these sessions, you will gain insight into the quality of mindfulness, and learn techniqes to practice and apply it to your daily life.
These sessions are open for one and all, and have something to offer everyone. There is no expreience or background required.
Because Buddhist monks receive no salary, the basic needs required in their mission such as fuel for travel, food, etc. are funded entirely by donation. For this reason, in these sessions we suggest that you provide a donation of at least $10.
Meditation is free, but life is not!
Your donation will help support the monks in their goal to add more live to the world, and also all those who will benefit from their efforts, especially you!
Thank you so much for your kind paricipataion and support. We hope to see you in Geneva.
May you be well, happy, and peaceful.
