Little Free Pantries are small, open-access food pantries that allow community members in need 24-7 access to food, water, and personal hygiene items. Flemington is home to six existing LFPs started by various organizations and individuals in our community. Little Free Pantries are located at:
Flemington Area Food Pantry LPF (154 Rt 31, in parking lot behind Walmart)
Salvation Army LFP (Corner of East Main and Hopewell Avenue)
Community LFP (10 New Jersey Avenue)
Presbyterian Church LFP (10 East Main Street)
Flemington DIY LFP (26 Stangl Road)
Echelon Studio LFP (27 Fulper Road)
Recommended donations:
Water bottles
Dry goods like box mixes, rice, oatmeal, etc.
Granola and protein bars
Coffee and tea
Crackers
Ramen and pot noodles
Instant soup packets
Hygiene products (esp. menstrual hygiene products)
Individual drink mix packets
Shelf-stable milk
Packaged or canned tuna and chicken
Canned goods and can openers
Peanut butter and jelly
Please no expired items, open packages, or frozen/refrigerated items.
Cold weather items: socks, gloves, hats, hand warmers
*September Food Drive is cancelled - We've been doing drives for a year come September and are taking a break. We'll be back in October.*
Donations will be collected at Flemington DIY monthly and then distributed to the pantries during the month.
