Want to get out of the house for some crisp cold air and see some winter birds? Join us at Rock Run Rookery in Joliet on January 11th at 9am for our monthly WCAS chapter birding hike! The rookery is known for hosting many visiting winter species from various ducks and geese to loons and migrant gulls. And of course let’s not forget Bald Eagles and other raptors. Dress warm and ready for windy conditions. Scopes and binoculars will be useful if you have them. Registration not required and open to the public.
