Climate Change Monthly Book ClubAs a lover of books and the Environment, Heather at Lairg Learning Centre will be hosting this Climate Change themed Book Club, in collaboration with the Highland Community Waste Partnership; the idea behind it is to get more people to join in with the Climate Change Conversation.
The Club will run the last Thursday of each month, 10.30-11.30am:
**Exception - July 18th (date altered for prior commitments) - 1.30pm-2.30pm**
Aug 29th,
Sept 26th,
Oct 31st,
Nov 26th.
- Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.
We plan to read one book each month and discuss it at the next meeting. A new book will then be sent home with you to read in time for the next discussion, and so on. Books will be provided by the Library.
We will mainly be reading Fiction, as this can cause more emotions and different perceptions in people than facts and gritty visuals.
