Everything about her is joyous and swingin’” - Christian McBrideKelly Green is a pianist, vocalist and composer based in NYC. She sings like she breathes, and her piano playing is sophisticated and modern, yet rooted in jazz tradition. She has shared her love for music at the Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s, DC Jazz Festival, and many more places, with legends like Christian McBride, Steve Wilson, George Coleman, Scott Robinson and more.
Based in NYC, the quartet is a tight knit ensemble with Green on piano and vocals, Even Hyde on drums, bassist Luca Soul Rosenfeld and Elijah Thomas on flute.
This show will showcase the new album “Seems”, as well as some standards from the great American songbook.
