We invite Montford neighbors to come together to process the hurricane, its effects on us, and our feelings about it all.
About this Event

Please join facilitators Leslie Mackinnon and Cassie Whiteside for a Montford Community Helene Support Group. Participants are invited to tell their stories, support one another, and learn skills and tools to help them stay centered in challenging times. To allow for deeper connection and group processing, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three meetings-- Jan. 14th, Jan 28th, and Feb. 4th (Tuesdays from 6:30-8). There are a limited number of spaces, so please only register if you're able to commit to all three sessions. Childcare and snacks will be provided. This series is supported by the City of Asheville's Elevate AVL program that seeks to strengthen neighborhood-led resilience. This group is focused on the Montford community; additional sessions will be available for other neighborhoods.
